Your spiritual journey begins at Amb, a small town in Una district well-connected by road and rail. After arriving, have breakfast and proceed to the Chintpurni Temple, your first stop on the pilgrimage.

Chintpurni Devi Temple

Located on a hilltop, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Chintpurni, who is believed to relieve devotees of worries and fulfill their wishes. The goddess is worshipped in her form as Chhinnamastika Devi, symbolizing her immense power and benevolence. The temple is surrounded by peaceful forests, making it an ideal place for prayer and meditation.

Activities at Chintpurni Temple:

• Tie a red thread on the sacred tree near the temple as a symbol of your wishes.

• Offer butter during the Makar Sankranti festival as a symbol of healing.
• Explore the temple’s architecture and surroundings.

After darshan, proceed to the Chamunda Devi Temple, another sacred shrine nestled in the Kangra Valley.

Chamunda Devi Temple

The Chamunda Devi Temple, located along the Baner River and backed by the mighty Dhauladhar ranges, is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda. This fierce form of Durga represents the power that vanquished the demons Chanda and Munda.
